Lovely restaurant in Leith famous for its seafood. I opted for moules and was not disappointed! The seafood platters looked amazing, but a bit pricier!
Our first seafood platter has set the bar incredibly high. The fresh seafood was cooked perfectly and was incredibly filling. We can't find a fault in this meal and already have plans to return very soon!. Ahoy there matey!. In all our years of living in Leith we’ve never been to The Ship on the Shore. As we sit here thinking up more pirate phrases we’re wondering why it’s taken us so long.
Well worth a visit to Leith for this highly professional establishment. Food cooked with integrity using freshest produce; exemplary staff who can cope under tremendous pressure, yet, always friendly and professional. Special mention is Clare who was run off her feet, but always with a smile.
