The Ship On The Shore - Edinburgh - Photo album

Everything tasted high quality. Wife got a ribeye, I got fish and chips, and we shared muscles. The atmosphere was very nostalgic. The Old Fashioned I ordered was good. I would have liked the option for some sauce of some kind with the fish and chips, but the fish was perfectly cooked.
Popped in for a late lunch and what a find. Absolutely fantastic food. The Oysters and seafood linguine were so good. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area
Great place for sea food. Huge portion for the fish and chips. Was bit of a slow service, but the food did all the justice. A bit pricey in comparison to other sea food restaurants in town. Convenient location and friendly staff.
Seafood is good, but I personally prefer Fishers . We had the mussels, oyster pakora, smoked seafood platter and dessert ( love boat ). Nothing to complain about, the service was very good and the whiskeys ( lagavulin, Ardbeg, caol ila) that we tried were reasonably priced.
The food was nice, I had the mussels but wasn't a fan of the sauce. My mum had the steak sandwich which she found to be fatty and my daughter had the mixed cold platter which was tasty and different. Hard to get parked so public transport is the better option.
Great seafood restaurant. We had the fruits de mer and the size, the quality and the flavour of all fish and shell fish was just amazing. I would highly recommend anyone who loves seafood to stop and have dinner or lunch here. Tip: order the sticky toffee for desert while you are here!

Our waiter was great and really helpful, the food was fantastic. The best I've had in a long time. Will ret
I went with my family. I loved the food and service provided. The lady working there helped us with the menu and was very patient with us. Anyone living seafood will definitely enjoy eating here
Had a class time with family here, a very relaxed atmosphere with lots of interesting themed decorations. As expected, the menu is seafood heavy with lots of different kinds of fish and shellfish, very fresh and staff were more than happy to accommodate certain fish allergies in our party. The brown
Good atmosphere and drinks. Haven't tried the food but we've been here a few times now and it's always a good time. Outside is great for people watching and meeting fellow travelers. Tonight we met a group of people from Norway and chatted with them a bit. The happy chappy ale is delicious for be
