I can't say enough good things about this place; the proprietor is lovely, really friendly & informative, a really awesome dude. The food is just amazing, full of flavour & absolutely nothing artificial about it. The portion sizes were huge, great range of table sauces - the banana ketchup & the passionfruit sauce were really, really good. The salad & coleslaw were excellent, loved the grated beetroot. The jugs of shandy were scrummy - beer, ginger beer, rum, & lime juice, went really well with the food. And last but by no means least was the rum, wide range of different aged rums, the 21 year old has to be tasted to be believed; I've never really been a great fan of rum but have been converted! Will definitely be going back
Omg...I'm in jerk chicken heaven!!! I haven't tasted something as tasty as this...and the fact they are in my door step plus deliver aswel...WOW, highly recommend. The gentleman who served us John was the perfect host, cooked the food to perfection and just an amazing host. Highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone who enjoys spicy Jamaican food.
Genuinely the best meal I've had in so long! Had a goat curry (not at all what I thought goat would taste like), jerk chicken, rice and a giant sort of pancake bready thing (can't remember what it's called) but my word did it taste phenomenal. The music was amazing, and with such a great spot just aside from the mania of Wind Street I would class this as the best getaway to Jamaica I've had for £10! Seriously worth a visit.
