I've been going to Ercan since I was a kid. This is without doubt the best chip shop in the area. Sometimes you have to wait, but this is a good sign because the proprietors focus on quality above all.

Servings are generous, for a £2 large portion of chips we usually feed a family of 4.

Since West Ham United announced the move from Upton Park to Stratford there has been some concern amongst local businesses. I hope a good family owned business like Ercan sticks around as it would be sorely missed.

Fabulous fish and chips. Very tasty, fresh and portions are huge. Haven't actually been inside the shop, but saw great reviews online so decided to give it a try. Ordered two cods and a large portion of chips home. Received the food promptly and it was nice and warm. Will definitely be ordering again :)

I stopped here for a no nonsense coffee and a quiet sit down to gather my thoughts but I was delighted to see the interior of this chippy probably hasn't changed since the 70s. Check the tiles, it's almost a museum! I cant vouch for the food because it's not my sort of thing but the coffee is ok and I was clearly charmed by the decor.
