Absolutely exquisite! Authentic Italian food and delicious wine selection. The ambience is peaceful and elegantly casual - great for a dinner date or get together with friends. The service was efficient and we did not wait long for our food at all. The only problem is that everything sounds so good you won’t know what to choose! Definitely will be back soon to try some other delicious dishes.
We come here often and this time, they deserve the excellent review. The restaurant interior enables people to have private discussions which is very helpful when coming for a lunch with a client. Food is outstanding, freshly made pasta, freshly baked bread, desserts truly Italian taste. We had an not to easy get in London, bottle of excellent wine, my Italian client was impressed. Friendly stuff, good prices, one of my favourite lunch/ dinner restaurants in that corner! The owner was in the place when we were there which is a good sin, also you could here Italian language all around, it must be popular among Italian community. We will be back again and again!
The newly opened (second) store nestled in the leafy, relaxed area of Fitzrovia, La Tagliata is an Italian restaurant that certainly didn’t disappoint! We left with a hearty, content filling in our stomachs, a beautiful mellow array of flavours to remember and fondly reminiscing our Italian summer holiday of 2017. With lovely house wines, incredibly fresh ingredients and clearly a lot of patience in preparing and perfecting the taste of each dish, La Tagliata is a restaurant that I wouldn’t hesitate returning to! Special shout out to the entrees which definitely surprised me in terms of the variety and superb combination of flavour.
Little restaurant hidden near Liverpool Station, with nice decoration and small private rooms which make you feel set apart from the rest of the restaurant.
We decided to try the summer menu, which gives you two or three choices of starter, main dish and dessert, for a fixed price of 22 pounds.
I took a mozzarella di bufala with ham, tagliatelle gamberi e zucchine and an affogato al caffè.
All was perfect, the waiters were very kind and the service was fast. The ingredients used were very fresh.
I would definitely go again.
It’s always fun to be invited along to tasting events. And, since I visited La Tagliata when it first opened a couple of years ago and really loved their simple but perfectly presented offering, I was very keen to go back and find out more. The idea was to taste and pick our favourite dish for the summer menu, while trying some of the starters and desserts on offer.
I recently dined at La Tagliata, and it was an outstanding experience. This Italian restaurant beautifully combines modern and elegant decor with a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. The ambiance is simply amazing.
The highlight, of course, was the food. It exceeded my expectations, especially considering the price. The flavors were authentic, and the quality was top-notch. From the pasta to the tiramisu, every dish was a delight for the taste buds.
The service was equally impressive. The waitstaff were warm and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, which added to the overall experience.
In summary, La Tagliata is a hidden gem in the world of Italian dining. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a delightful meal in an elegant yet cozy setting.
A catch up with good friends. A wonderful restaurant. The layout is great with various areas meaning you aren't in a large dining room. Makes it cosier for chat without feeling as though people are listening. The staff were great. Professional, knowledgeable and didn't rush us to order. The food was ALL excellent although we couldn't decide whether the steak, lamb or swordfish was best! It's a bit on the pricier side but the quality of food and wine was top notch. Loved it. Thank you.
A cute out of the way little restaurant, love the little nooks to make it feel more intimate. You feel transported away from the hustle and bustle of Liverpool St.
Portions were slightly small but so good and full of flavour.
The staff were friendly and personable.
Great find, definitely recommend.
Lovely small Italian restaurant tucked in the small streets of Liverpool Street. There’s a great selection of starters and pastas, I had the truffle cream and prosciutto bruschetta which was rich but not overpowering at the same time! The seafood pasta was delicious - the lobster bisque soup was amazing! The tiramisu was also amazing - it had good amounts of coffee taste to it!
Lovely cosy and intimate spot. Friendly and attentive waiter.
Food was delicious, service was of a high standard and the atmosphere was nice.
Delicious prawns starter.
One of the best healthy salads I have had. The mix of artichokes and citrus was an absolute win.
