Went for my granddad’s birthday as a group of five.. service was super good - no pressure, kind - and the food was spectacular. We had five starters, three mains and some bread and it was the perfect amount… we were hungry and all left full, without leaving food to waste.
My personal favorite was the celeriac - the squid was all right but only item we weren’t obsessed with.
I’m not sure of the price as I didn’t see the final bill but it seemed very reasonable for the quality and the main servings were big.
Will definitely be coming back!
It is a beautiful restaurant just behind Regent Street. Beautifully crafted dishes. All are small in size, so you can try many different dishes. And these flavour bombs are more than worth it.
What a spectacular dining experience! We knew we were in for a treat with Ottolenghi, and this did not disappoint. Vegetables, as you’d expect, truly are the heroes here. Between two people, from the menu we shared two nibbles, three veg, two fish/meat, two sides and a dessert - this was almost too much food for two (we went home very happily stuffed).
Menu is heavily seasonal and changes regularly, but the highlights for us in particular were the char siu cauliflower and the maple roasted carrots. The spring chicken and ox tongue was also delicious - the whole menu is well thought out and you really can’t go wrong. Staff were extremely attentive and very friendly, and I liked that the restaurant didn’t feel too swanky. As far as dining goes, the cost is a blowout, particular when you add cocktails & wine, but it’s well worth it for a wonderful evening of delightful food and a lovely ambience.
