This has now been resolved by the restaurant, and I will be ordering from there in future. Very kind gesture, and great food.
Having been a long time satisfied customer of this takeaway I ordered tonight, but tried to order a large portion of boiled rice and some roast duck and roast pork to go on top.
Straightforward you might think?
But the guy on the phone could not process what I was asking for as it's not on the menu in that exact format.
After 5 minutes of me explaining to him what it was over and over again I gave up. He refused to allow me to speak to the owner, refused to ask the kitchen if they would do it for me, and displayed a complete and utter lack of communication and customer service skills.
I cancelled the entire £40 order in the end and ordered somewhere else, who agreed to do the dish immediately.
How to lose long time faithful customers in one easy lesson.
I promised the guy I will never order there again.
But I doubt they could care less.
Whatever happened to standards?

really friendly and great customer service.
Have used the take away service for over 3 years excellent service always delivers promptly. Special Chow mein 😋 is one of my favourites. Would recommend highly 👌.
