We had haggis, steak, Cullen, soup of the day. The mash potato was very good. I loved the Cullen. Nice scottish food, calm space, very good service. I had to remove 1* because we weren't asked about the tip, it was already added in the bill. Other than that, very pleased with the experience. Recommended.

Noticed on the menu outside Scottish fish n chips and just had to try them. And not disappointed at all. Great service from friendly staff and delicious, hot food. If you are down near the Palace of Holyroodhouse then this a definite stop when you have finished the tour.

My cousin and I visited the Kilderkin this week and we had the best lunch. The Cumberland sausage, mash and onion gravy was delicious, she had the Haggis and Tatties and loved that as well. We then indulged in coffee and cake and that did not disappoint. Well worth a visit. Great atmosphere and the owner is lovely.

Thanks to Nicole and Guy! Food was excellent. Highly recommend what we had: Black pudding salad and Cullen Skink.
