The Kilderkin - Edinburgh - Photo album

The atmosphere is relaxed and easygoing. Management and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is pretty good - especially the fat chips which are wonderful! It’s good value for money. Tea/ coffees are also available and the beers are interesting and varied.
We were walking across royal mile and were looking for place to sit down and have lunch. So, we somehow choose this bar. I coul say nothing special, sausages were mediocre, the feeling was that I got the same sausages earlier that day on Hotel breakfast buffet. Atmosphere is nice and you get feeling
Pub quiz was in action, somewhat desperately when I arrived so avoided it. Staff were friendly and helpful albeit with a wild manic edge to their demeanor so I was polite and circumspect then moved to the pre-booked back room to meet the people I intended. Not a bad venue that central in Edinburgh a
Went to this pub during the fringe festival. Great beers/staff. Excellent atmosphere with great comedy
Came in for late lunch and ordered the doner wrap as the haggis burger was too popular and sold out. Had a few different beers and the malt of the week, which was fantastic. The staff (and other patrons!) were very friendly and provided some great comedy.
Pretty good spot right next to Arthur's seat, so come here once you finish that. There are pretty good menu options and the atmosphere isn't too bad either. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. Wide variety of food and drinks available.
I had a very pleasant experience here. It was my first time eating in a Scottish pub, and the guy who took my order was nice. He brought me an exceptionally good glass of whiskey and some haggis that I enjoyed as well. My companion had macaroni and cheese and she enjoyed that plate too. It was a fun
So popular. Food is delicious and not so expensive. Quite busy with many customers but people there were really nice.
Super friendly staff, the vibe inside is SO COZY (Cody). Had two pints and great conversation. Would definitely go back and highly recommend! They have £1 pizza night on Mondays! How is that even real!!! Can’t wait to try those out. Also have a great spirit list.
It was a good place for a quick drink and bios to eat. The menu was limited to pizza and a few other snacks when we visited on a Friday evening. A larger menu is available during the day.
Nice environment, lovely bar and the pizzas were very tasty. The only downside I could found is that they take quite a lot of time but they taste good!!
Our first attention was just to drink some coffee and warm up. But when we entered the place we couldn’t resist not to order some beer and try their pizzas (they had special offer 2 for 1) which were delicious. The service was very friendly and the ambience was pubish (in a good way) it was very cos
The BEST dining experience I've had in Scotland so far. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and the food blew me away. I wish I could give even more stars.
Had a couple of Whiskies and lunch here. The food and service were excellent. Best fish tacos and the french onion soup was delicious.
On a family trip to Edinburgh for a couple of days, we decided to go to Kilderkin for lunch because it is very close to Holyrood Castle and we had a visit very close to lunch time. The place was too crowded and they kindly told us that we could come in and if we were lucky, we could sit down. We fou
