I went a second time before writing this review. This restuarant has had alot of renevations in the past few years. Been established since the late 1980s and not to be confused with Lezziz charcoal grill.
I went in with my brother and and a friend and ordered a huge charcoal platter. For 12 quid we got shawarma, kebab doner both lamb and chicken, and chicken tikka etc. Naan bread salad and sauce included too. It was very filling for the three of us and food was delicious. Honestly it was great. Didnt take too long too prepare and the food was presented very well too (we ate in). Meat on the skewers looked great; food plating wasnt bad at all. They took care in delivering our food.
Dont expect an amazing five star presentation but what you can expect is great customer service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I didnt expect it to be this good. Smiling staff, light banter, table services and even give recommendations. Let you feel welcomed in their restuarant.
5 star food hygiene rating. Theres plenty of space to eat in. You can easily seat two big families. Lighting is normal and cant anything special about the ambience or decorations. Pretty basic and straight forward. Easy on the eyes. Youl be too busy tucking into good grub. Their burgers are great too. Definitly recommend this restuarant if youre in the area. Very affordable prices and great value
They have really delicious kebabs! Always consistent in terms of quality. You have to try them, especially the lamb donner (the chicken donner's delicious too).
I'm not a fan of the taste of the fish in their fish & chips (the chips were fine) but my boyfriend says that it tasted alright.
Just info.: The set up of the place is not like a restaurant, more like a casual fast food joint. Clean place though, one I wouldn't mind spending time in, unlike most fast-food places.
