Best fish and chips I've ever eaten!
Who knew fish and chips could be this good.
Trust the high Google reviews as this was incredible. Seems exaggerated as it's 'just fish and chips' but the chips are perfection and the fish cooked just right with crispy but light batter. Generous portion too. It's not cheap but absolutely worth the money.
They offer skate too which is unusual but very, very good.
I have eaten fish and chips my whole life all over the country and this for me is the best. Couldn't recommend highly enough!.
What a lovely fish and chips shop.
The chips were fat chips, crunchy yet fluffy on the inside, The fish was huge, tasted delicious, and was cooked really well. Moist and flaky. Very large portions.
Sorry to say the fish was a bit oily. I think the oil needed changing. The staff were pleasant and lovely. One member of staff had very tiny shorts that were showing her bottom cheeks. I don't really think that's proper attire. when you're serving food.
Other than that note , it's a lovely restaurant. Staff are fantastic. Food it tastes nice and I would visit again.
It's been a good long time since I've tasted such delicious fish n chips.

Tip. The large portions is enough to share if you're not too hungry.
Also tried the calamari which was really well cooked.
Just 10/10 delicious.
However, one thing that stands out is that the manager and the wait staff go out of their way to accommodate. They were just fantastic. Getting tables together in the small ambient restaurant, and keeping our chaotic orders coming to the tables without missing a beat. Hats off to you guys for well oiled operation.
Parking is the usual seaside scrum. Get there early or find a spot at a local car park. Ringo is the main pay app here.
It was also the only restaurant along the beach that was consistently packed out.
10/10 on all fronts from me. Really enjoyed our lunch and hope to visit again soon!
