The eclectic selection of booze, cheese, savouries and wine is far superior to anything seen around here,and what helps even more is the friendly and knowledgeable and rather cute staff.
I've visited Tastes of Britain a couple of times to buy gin, presents and treats from the Deli. A few weeks ago some friends and I attended a gin tasting evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was extremely good value for money - we tried around 16 gins. Some long drinks and some short. We had lots of deli treats - meat, cheese, bread and olives. Paul the co-owner is extremely knowledgeable about the history of gin and the local/regional businesses now producing gin around the UK. Social distancing measures were also good. I would highly recommend the tasting and also a visit to stock up on Christmas presents and treats.
Did a gin tasting last night. Excellent value for money, over 16 gins tried!
A great evening out with friends, gin, deli selection and Paul guiding us through it all.
I've also had a couple of deli board deliveries over the last year and would definitely recommend them. Again, good value.
