We went at 1pm and the restaurant was not that busy. The food had halal
options. The beef was soft and well cooked which I was pleased with. Yorkshire pudding was delicious but the veg was on the bland side. Overall would defo recommend and I would suggest you try it out . If you don’t like noise go in the morning before 3pm. Staff were very polite and accommodating.
We booked for Sunday roast and it was a really good meal. We loved the vibe of the place: eclectic mix of student friends, 80's and 90's tunes, surrounded by green nature and friendly, happy staff. It was an uplifting experience that we plan to repeat when we're back in December. One note was that it was a little on the cold side where I was sitting which was the far corner table. When I left I found the rest of the place was warmer so just that corner is very cool.
Beautiful birthday brunch with my daughter and friends. It was our first time and it did not fail to deliver!! We ordered from the a la carte menu as it made it cheaper for us non-drinkers. It is on the more expensive side, but, in my opinion, worth it!! Service was good, and our server was lovely, but the recommendation for the brunch meal was slightly off, but that was to do with her preference and those who like a much smaller meal, I think. It's wheelchair, pushchair and baby friendly which is a massive plus. The WC is a mixed one and is partitioned off by a heavy screen. The decor just blew me away as we stepped into the Firefly and at the back of the restaurant there is a big space for large parties and a huge wall of screens which had scenery videos playing. Great music played in the background which added to the ambience. I definitely would have a dinner/party/brunch or breakfast here. We will be going again. Thank you for the wonderful experience 😁
