This place is amazing!! There is so much on the menu that you struggle to choose.. but then the manager is there to help and give you some advice based on what you might like... we chose the platter to share to start. Filippino spring rolls are the best spring rolls we have ever tasted. The platter is so filling that we had to leave some otherwise we wouldn't have space for the main course. Followed by malaysian curry and noodles (C7 on the menu!). Soo tasty! Best sticky rice ever to go with the curry. Place is lovely and prices are reasonable. I loved Koh Thai but this restaurant is by far superior! Nothing like any other restaurant around and it brings a mixture of authentic asian cuisine! We will definitely be back. Many thanks!!
Nice place with delicious food! Portions are good size and decent price. Very friendly and attentive staff, perhaps a bit too attentive but understandable since it's a new place looking for feedback. Will definitely be coming back!
Ate here last night with Alana. It was fabulous. Really authentic, delicious south East Asian food, reasonably priced, and lovely, friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend - this is my new go to for that style of food!! �

Went there with my Mum and 2 boys. Fantastic atmosphere, excellent service and food to die for. The chicken spring rolls and beef rendang were the best I've ever had!
Amazing food, and the service is incredible. They were happy to accommodate 11 of us despite not even booking prior. Definitely deserves alot of attention.
We tried out a couple of Malaysian/Singaporean, as well as Japanese dishes at this restaurant. Really loved the food, service and ambiance that we went there twice in our day in Portsmouth. The price vs portion was also good. We really loved the beef rendang, char kueh tiaw and the mee goreng mamak. Also loved the teriyaki and tempura combo set. We also ordered the Singaporean Vermicelli and Nasi Goreng, which were not bad. We were informed by our server Derek that the chicken and beef are halal. Highly recommend the restaurant.
I love going to Rakuzen, especially for the beef rendang. There is no other restaurant serving Malay style food in Portsmouth. Delicious!

Craving for malaysia food. 1st time here. Not disappointed at all. Food tastes good, staff are friendly and love this little cozy restaurant. Me and hubby have a wonderful dinner here.
