Popped in for a quick meal with a friend. We had the halloumi burger. It was beautifully cooked not overdone and squeaky at all! We enjoyed the food and were pleased to get free parking! (There’s signs everywhere about registering you number plate if you are a patron) although to be fair there is free parking opposite and just up the street. The garden is lovely with a great view of the river and locks. We’ll be back!

After a long day out and driving back to tewkesbury, we decided to grab some dinner. The girls on the bar Saturday dinner time, were friendly and welcoming. Food was lush! I had the hallumi burger and my partner the beef burger, chips were cooked to perfection and lovely little side salad and dressing. Very reasonable priced. Gorgeous evening so went and sat down by the river and what a lovely spot. Maybe a little investment in some new benches down the very bottom. Definitely would recommend and will be back. Thank you for some lovely grub.

Great place to stop in for a pint, highly recommend going to the bottom of the beer garden to enjoy your beer by the side of the river, old historic pub with a great atmosphere,safe are friendly and helpful and the cost of a pint wont cost you an arm and a leg top place
