Definitely recommend this beautiful village pub for its wonderful food, fantastic welcoming atmosphere and its lovely decor which is such an amazing transformation to the tiny pub it was years ago.
The village itself is also a joy sitting at the foot of Bredon Hill in the Cotswolds with castle ruins, charming cottages, babbling stream and stunning views - all making for a great place to walk.
We had a family meal for my elderly Mum’s birthday and the staff made a great fuss of her which was very much appreciated. Service was excellent and we didn’t wait long for our food even though it was very busy.
Best of all, this pub is community led and a real credit to the village who saved it from closure. Thank you everyone 🙏🏻
We had a warm welcome, and the service and food was excellent. We will definitely be going here again! It was reasonably priced and the staff were very friendly. It's easy to park outside, and the surroundings are stunning. Good pub food, and drinks.
Nicely presented community pub with very pleasant staff and a well kept pint of Wye Valley. Had lunch there with Friends and everyone was happy with the food. We had driven maybe 40 minutes to try this pub and although it was fine it wasn't a "stand out" lunch. Would happily return though
