Lovely local eatery with a lovely welcome. My sister and I stopped here for a bite to eat while walking our dog, and we'll certainly be making our way back in the future.
It's a beautiful little setting, with a mish Mash of chairs and tables on offer, a pet bed available for the pup, and local artists and producers crafts on offer to purchase.
The food was good, and the coffee was great. I decided upon a rather unusual Sconewich and wasn't disappointed in the least. A sun dried tomato and cheese scone filled with bacon and onion chutney, it was a brilliant concept, and one I thoroughly enjoyed. My sister decided upon a slice of the homemade chocolate cake, and that was lovely too.
Cheap, welcoming, and delicious, this cafe is perfect for a quick stop or for afternoon tea. Dogs are welcome (if well behaved), I highly recommend.
Lovely tea room, comfortable and stylish with a relaxing atmosphere. Welcoming owner who knows how to rustle up a fabulous brekkie sandwich and cracking coffee. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Newbiggin by the Sea.
We had a tasty bowl of cullen skink and a quiche, together with a cream and lemon curd scone. Its a nice place, with good feel and well run.
