The food was brilliant, well presented, and a lot of care had gone into the preparation.
The downside to this restaurant was around the price (quite high for a hot pot) and the additional costs added for the sauces/spices. The standard tends to be a collection of different ingredients that you can use to make your own dipping sauce - at No 8 you had to purchase individual ingredients at a high cost.
I love their hotpot broth, especially the clams one.
Their cuts of meat just melts in the mouth. I don’t usually get the pork but the Iberian pork was nice. I also love the prawn paste that are homemade and nicely seasoned.
I like it for the quality, compared to other hotpot places.
