Myself and my friend had a joint 21st celebration at Browns Lane on August bank holiday. After having a relaxed meeting with the owner, we decided all the finer details such as food, decoration and even sorted a drinks offer for a few of the delicious cocktails on the menu. Browns Lane management and all staff exceeded our expectations. When we arrived on the day (early to check everything was in place) the staff had made the venue just perfect. They had created an outside bar, moved all the tables around both upstairs and downstairs, had some complimentary snacks on the tables when we arrived and put all of our decorations up exactly as we'd imagined, including balloons, bunting, confetti and various childhood photos. For food we wanted something relaxed and easy to eat. As Browns Lane provides more of a fine dining experience, we were worried this wouldn't possible. We decided on both chicken and lamb burgers on brioche buns with salad and homemade coleslaw, with a vegetarian option of sweet potato and quinoa burgers, which was perfect for everyone. It wasn't too fussy, but still fresh and tasty. Overall the evening was everything we had asked for and more, and at a very reasonable price for everything included. The food was of a high standard and the staff were so helpful and cheery, always happy to go that extra mile.
Recently came on a Sunday and had great food and such attentive and friendly service. It was a nice surprise to find kids eat free and their food was also top quality and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would highly recommend for families on a Sunday and have spread the word. In a world of mass catering and boil in the bag meals it is nice to have a place who make food freshly and with a changing menu. We will be back.
We hired Browns Lane to do our wedding catering and they were absolutely fantastic! David was so accommodating and helped us create the perfect menu (especially for me the indecisive veggie!) The food on the day was so delicious, everyone loved it and the staff were brilliant. We honestly couldn't recommend them enough, they were so, so great! Thank you for making it the perfect day
