Loved everything about this place. The staff is the best. I interacted with one of them unfortunately I didn’t get to know her name. She was so nice and understanding l hope she gets to see the comment she made my day and I surely believe that her kindness will open several opportunities for her in the future. You know what they say when you give with a caring heart it will definitely come back.
If you have toddlers there is a good playing space for them while you enjoy your coffee. Need to study?! there is a closed big space with desks for that too.
Oh my gosh, what a find! I stopped in with my toddler after a busy morning for some much needed coffee and lunch. The decor and atmosphere were excellent. Bom Bom seemed to cater for everyone - people studying, working, on their lunch break or with little kids.
The very friendly staff took the time to say hello to my son and gave him some colouring to do when he’d finished his lunch. There was also a nice kids area inside the cafe with a chalkboard and an assortment of toys for little kids, which my son loved.
As for the food and the coffee… I cannot fault it. I had a chicken toastie which they were happy to alter for me as I have dietary needs. They offered gluten free options and their cakes display was clearly marked to show allergens. And the cakes…. Ooooooh the cakes! I had a snickers brownie (gluten free) and it was sooooo good!!!
There is a small car park outside with spaces marked for Bom Bom customers (free parking). There are toilets in the same building as Bom Bom but I couldn’t find a baby change facility at this one (Canal House).
Five stars - I am already planning my return!
Presently surprised if I'm honest. We were looking for somewhere to have a coffee that wasn't in the town centre and we could park the car ok and found this lovely cafe/patisserie.
Initially we thought we were in the wrong place, as it forms part of an old factory and the outside is painted black, so doesn't look very appealing and there is only a small sign on the door.
However, how wrong can you be.
On entering the premises we were taken back by how bright and airy the place is.
There were plenty of tables and smaller single seat bars as well as a enfant play area.
The staff were friendly enough.
We both had a latte and a raspberry and chocolate brownie. Both were very nice and I'd go so far as to say the best I've tried.
The cafe appears to be part of a business hub, but I'm not sure.
The access the toilets you have to go through the hub, but as I didn't use them, I can't comment on accessibility or whether they are parent/baby or disabled friendly.
Access to the cafe is via stairs from the rear, but I assume there must be another entrance for pushchairs and wheelchairs, but can't confirm.
If I had any criticism, it would be lack of signage to the entrance.
Overall. If you are in Loughborough, check it out.
