The atmosphere is lovely, the place is very magical. Cute magic to do, very cleaver. I would give 2 stars for the cleaning. The cups, the cutlery the jugs where not clean. My spine was used. We asked to change many and ever the clean one where not fresh but a bit sticky. I would make sure to be more careful in this for the future. But the experience was lovely.
I visited here after having it on my bucket list, and although the atmosphere was better than I expected, the gluten-free food was the worst I have ever been served.
The cupcake was solid and stale, and it felt like it had been left out on the side for several months. The scone was also extremely dry and fell apart. The bread on the sandwiches was dry. The roll was delicious. The lemon meringue tart was lovely.
It is a magical experience, and I enjoyed all the elements but felt like the three drinks at the end were a waste. I did not see anyone drink them, and without any guidance on how to make them actually taste nice, we were just experimenting and adding ingredients that did not make it taste any nicer. I would have liked a guide on a variety of different brews that we could follow to create our own drinks.
It is definitely an experience that I would recommend, but only once and more for the atmosphere than the food.
Absolutely loved our experience at the Wizard Exploratorium. It was so fun making our own cocktails that bubble and smoke! Jack, our server, was incredible at being on hand to help when we needed items and was great at staying in character. We even bought 2 cocktails and an extra shot, one of which was set on fire!
We booked the afternoon tea and had a really good time. We were with Mitch and he was funny and considerate and kind. There are some spells and cool effect involved but we felt there could have been more (you spend much time sort of by yourself). The food was cute, but not a lot. The place is wizardly run down which has it's charm apart from on the toilets. We also had two "unicorn bloods" which are nice as you get them from the unicorn bartender, but IMHO not worth the money. Also, our event was basically over 28 mins before the set time with everyone else leaving, which was weird and sort of breaking the mood and magic a bit. Can recommend it as a fun thing to do once :) The people there are all very nice.
Had such a great time. There is a variety of things to do with the different potion making activities and using our wands to open boxes or turn lights on.
The food was great. I felt that it was worth the cost for the whole experience and food/drink.
One suggestion would be for our hosts to dress a little more towards the theme. The hosts were great, full of energy and made it a memorable experience. It's just the casual dress that drew away from the wizard experience.
This was lovely! The drinks were delicious and it was a fun, interactive experience. Whether you’re a wizarding fan or looking to make some cocktails, this was a great time for all parties. Jack was especially helpful and an exceptional potions master. He even gave us recs for dinner after our potions class! I would recommend this to anyone :)
Wow! What a great experience. My son (aged 9) and I are huge Harry Potter fans and we’re given this experience as a joint birthday gift. We had the BEST time! Jack, Jess and Simone were so attentive and fun! We loved the magical tea box and potion making!
Really fun experience with wonderful decor, fantastic staff, a spectacular interactive experience and delicious food! I can't recommend it highly enough. We loved it!

I had a wonderful time with my 11 years old daughter. More than expected. It was a surprise for her and I saw her eyes shining. I also really enjoyed. It's beautifully decorated and people there are very nice. The food is well presented and good, the tea preparation is magic and fun. Small and intimate, it made the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend.
I cant recommend this place enough. Our host Connor was exceptional and kept everyone (children and adults) entertained and engaged throughout the whole experience. He was more than happy to help and got us everything we needed. The food cannot be faulted at all. Scones came out nice and warm and the cakes were very tasty. The only improvement I'd seek would be an extra sandwich or two. Brilliant afternoon tea and atmosphere!!
Lovely experience, thought out with lots of details. Both “Potion Masters” RL and Simone played their parts brilliantly, engaging with every guest. Children at the next table were enchanted and you could see they lived the experience. Cramped and dusty but it actually goes well with the theme! Definitely recommended with children and creative minded adults. And truly cudos to RL and Simone
Can not recommend this place enough. I have just been for a second time, and it was just as good as the first. Cocktails are super tasty, and the whole experience is super unique and exciting. The staff are lovely, super friendly and will go out of the way to help. It's definitely worth a visit!!
I booked this experience as something to entertain my two girls with over the April half term.
The team were friendly and welcoming.
I didn't really know what to expect from this afternoon tea so was pleasantly surprised by the fact its very interactive with a host talking you through the 'magic spells' to open tea chests and make teas.
We started the magic by letting the children who had pre ordered the special mocktail grab a wand and get the unicorn head to pour the drink into the glass. We were then all guided up two narrow flights of stairs to the small room where the afternoon tea would be held.
The first bit started with using your wand to open the tea chest and create your own tea blend, with lots of different teas to choose from and then use the pestle and mortar to grind the blend together before putting it in your teabag .
While we were doing this they brought out the savoury plates and the sweet options.
The girls weren't keen on any of the savoury options, my eldest girl liked the cakes and the youngest liked nothing!
After eating there was another 'magic' tea to make using a tea bag they provided and some little bottles with fairy tears, flower nectar and vampire blood!
And then after this it was time to leave, the whole experience was probably around an hour and half.
It was a nice but very expensive experience. Would I do it again probably not as it is expensive for the food you receive especially when my fussy children hardly ate anything. However that said it was fun and is a better experience than your average afternoon tea.
Had a great time here! I enjoyed the atmosphere, the cozy size of the place, and the food, I will be emailing them on where to get more or the recipe for that quiche I had, it was sublime.
My wife and I got this as a wedding gift and we absolutely LOVED it!
I won’t spoil the surprise but this was well worth the time. We were in a room with three other tables and had a variety of yummy food and teas across the hour and a half that we were there. The vegetarian option food was tasty and just the right amount vs. other afternoon teas where you often feel too stuffed afterwards.
What made the experience great though was the interactive parts (I won’t give them away!) and the amazing hosts (Richard-Luke and Adina). They were super friendly throughout, cracking tongue-in-cheek jokes and making the experience magical. Thanks so much to them in particular!!
My god daughter and I had a brilliant time here. Our potions master Jojo was great fun and really helped us get into the spirit of things. There were lots of surprises which brought genuine gasps from two avid Potter fans. The only reason we decided on 4 stars and not 5 is because the range of food could have been a little better for the price we paid. That said, we both thoroughly recommend here for the experience and would definitely come again.
Awesome experience. We were a total of 4 and it was plenty of food with leftovers. The staff are outstanding. Great customer service. My kids had a blast making potions, discovering what the wand could do... They totally felt as wizards. It was one experience after another. The place is small but still offers a great entertainment. So, don't expect big table for a big group.
