It’s my second time here in this beautiful tranquil cafe. You can indulge yourself in the an array of Korean traditional teas and sweet treats.
My favourite would be the matcha rice cake which was divine and chewy upon every bite and their vegan jellies.
I tried their persimmon tea and blossom petals tea. They were both really lovely.
My only downside was the matcha latte that I tried from my friend. Unlike other matcha lattes I’ve had, this had a lingering bitter taste to it which was slightly off-putting
Whether you’re coming here by yourself to relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea, or with friends to have a peaceful chat and indulge in the sweet treats, this is a spot worth going to.
Nevertheless, the ladies who worked there are really lovely and service was amazing.
Discovered this Korean tea shop while I was at Exmouth market.
Overall, it was a nice place to relax and have some teas.
Tried the Early Sparrow and got a dysfunctional tea pot because the staff took out the strainer which means you can't put the lid back on and the tea goes cold very quickly.
Also tried the sparkling malcha (green tea) which was basically green tea mixed with Harrogate sparkling water which wasn't quite worth it.
Been there for a few times.
They created absolutely great atmosphere for tea tasting. I was very lucky that I could enjoy the garden by myself when I first visited.
I especially like the pumpkin mochi for snacks.
The only disappointment was the cold brew tea. They put ice to make it cold, it shall be storage in the fridge so the tea flavor doesn’t deduct. For me it’s like a glass of water with light tea flavor.
The portion of matcha latte was small, not very satisfied with its price. Besides that, the matcha was covered by the milky taste. I wish I could taste more of the matcha.
