Very close to Fortnum's this is a typical English old world charm eatery
Interiors are in the 1940/50/60 style,elegant but yet simple.Comfortable seating and tables well spaced. Service is attentive and helpful but you do wait 15/20 minutes for your order to be served
.Thats is perfectly acceptable for a place like this which is Not a fast food joint but a place to spend time over a well made meal.The fish and Shepherds' pie were good while the Prawn and avacado could have had a little more prawns...They a wide selection of cakes and pies as well as gelatos. .priced reasonably a good find on out trip.Try it for the typical British ambience

I came to Richoux because I was told that it is a London institution, and I have found that it is truly a wonderful place to have an elegant breakfast. This old cafe is really beautifully decorated, in darker red tones and with lovely paintings.
This is definitely not a place you come to for any innovative breakfast options, they serve classic dishes. They serve pastries that you can buy to go and also have a varied breakfast menu if you want to sit and eat here. The porridge they serve is delicious and I also really liked the Eggs Benedict with salmon, they were really well done.
