Each time I walk past harrow road to catch bus 18, I am fascinated by the exterior of Wenzel bakery, covered with lightly tinted see through glasses, which made it look unique and exquisite.
A couple of days back, I decided to stop by and check out the products they have. The interior is small but beautifully arranged with varieties of freshly baked bread , doughnuts, pastries and cakes. The room was well lit with orange light making the snacks look really alluring. I got a loaf of bread, it had a coarse feel on the outside but inner part was soft and tasted like the bread has been smeared with a bit of butter and a pinch of salt and I really loved it.
To maximize the utility you get from the bread, you could apply your spread on two slices and toast, eat with fried egg, baked beans and finish off with a cup of tea or coffee. And you would have had a perfect breakfast (assuming you are not a vegetarian).
I would have preferred a sugary bread though; the attendant with a warm smile on her face told me they only have sugary breads on Fridays.
Amazing chicken mayo salad baguette, the best!!!!! over any competitor..
Really friendly staff too forgot crisp packet in previous order and immediately compensated in current order.

I come here almost every morning, the food is great. The service, however, makes me feel unwelcome and I would go elsewhere if i had an option. This particular morning though there was a really friendly lady serving, her name was Andrea. Thank you, Andrea, and your colleagues should learn from you.
