When it comes to pizza Voodoo Ray's separates itself from the masses, as it's pies are NY style. It's so good to be able to hold a big slice, at this great restaurant chain which is always good for a catch-up with friends.
I've been to a few branches over the years and always appreciate the classic 90's style decor almost reminiscent of that US pizzeria seen in some movie. The ingredients on the pizza are well chosen with all slices packing a good amount of flavour, though offering balance with taste. I like how daring they can be with some of their toppings, yet all work well and I had seconds of some slices trying to relive that first slice experience! 😁
Me and a group of friends booked the private area for my 23rd birthday. There were 18 of us, but we were served delicious cocktails very quickly and had even allowed my friend to organise a birthday cake with candles. The largest pizzas are HUGE and again came to our table shortly after ordering. I’m a vegan, and the El Nino is the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had. It was a great start to our night out and I’m definitely planning on coming back. Thanks Voodoo Rays! 💜
You'll definitely be voodood by the time you leave this place. My friends and I was walking down to peakham rye station and semi walked past this place,my mate stopped, turned around started to talked about how amazing pizza they have.
And it was good, thinne and big slices and just enough topping without overdoing the toppings. Few selections of pizza and drinks.
Inside it's spaciouse and offer live Jazz every Sunday . They have few limited seats outside in the front.
They offer gluten free pizza (whole) and they don't sell this as slices.
I'll definitely come back
