First time I visited them they was closed, I came back the next day to get some oxtail. You best believe this is the best oxtail I’ve had in London. I come down from Essex just to get some food. I’ve been recommending this place so far to everyone I know! It’s worth the wait it’s worth every single penny. Great Food Great People Great Service Keep IT going
Wow ! Had my first food from here today. Oxtail ! I can honestly say it was the best oxtail I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size too. There was enough for 2 people with coleslaw, salad, rice and peas and it was only 5 gold coins !!!!! Thank you guys for the jokes while waiting and the beautiful soul food x
You have to queue but it's worth it , lovely people and delicious food at a great price. The octal melted in my mouth.
Jerk in the Park has the best food this side of the river they can cook, they have flavour, the price is good and portion is not a la Carte. After you eat you know you have eaten and then you can just go to sleep Big up Jerk in the Park

Great jerk and even better customer service. Extremely personable people who take pride in ensuring they provide you with a great experience and the portion sizes are nice making it amazing value for money.
I'm back for the jerk lamb chops on Thursday!!!
The best Caribbean food in london, the chicken is barbecued fresh in the park. I have tried all of their food, and I rate it 10 out 10. These guys have been here for years, and when you taste their food, you will know why. They make the best curry goat and oxtail. Their portions are big and one size, they will have different food on the menu on each day but they always serve jerk chicken every day, come early to get the food because they can be big ques.
I have got to this place based on a recommendation of my friend. And after experiencing the meal form the place, I would do the same.
I had never got jerk chicken before visiting this place, but when I got to the stand, I heard just praises form people around. I can agree that the taste is amazing and the portion size makes you very full.
There is no sitting area directly at the place, it's mostly the stand in a park. The meals are served directly in take away boxes. I ate my portion while sitting at a bench in the park.
It's the best/easiest to eat the meal with your own hands, especially the chicken. Because of that, you will have your hands dirty and suitable for washing afterwards. I have found some tap with water in the park, which is very convenient for this kind of case.
Expect a long queue, and I mean really long and slowly moving queue, to get your meal. Get to the place earlier, because the meals are sold out for the day at 1 PM without any problem.
Visiting London from out of town and heard this chicken was a must have, so we travelled across London for it. It did not disappoint. We had the jerk chicken and jerk beef rib - both were beautiful, so so tasty. Recommend having without sauce to get the full flavour of the marinade. Both juicy and tender. Definitely worth the trip!
Staying at the Hampton, looking for authentic Jamaican food…found it at Jerk in da Park. Just a walk down the block to the park. Jerk chicken with rice and peas, oxtail with rice and peas, and bun an cheese for under £25! With good portion size? Could never find these prices in the States. Definitely stop by if you have tastebuds and want them to get excited.
Amazing food and atmosphere. It was an authentic Jamaican culinary experience, with a very warm and chatty staff. Loved this little shack in the park, highly recommended for a laid back, casual snack/lunch with friends/family! See you again soon!
