Found this place while going for a walk during my lunch hour. Walked past it but went back and decided to go in. I'm so glad I did. The atmosphere was lovely and the bar staff were so lovely and friendly. I've been twice and only had glasses of wine and crisp, so the next time I go, i will be eating there.

There are thirty or so pubs called The Green Man in London, so asking to meet up at The Green Man could send you on a wild goose chase. This Green Man is easy to find and is just a five minute walk from Goodge St tube.

The Green Man is an elegant corner pub and sits proud as punch alongside its fellow Victorian buildings which line this quaint side street in W1. The red brickwork really makes this pub stand out from the crowd and the foliage softens the edges around this handsome pub.

The bar is well presented and is L shaped, the high windows flood the bar with light and all around are touches which makes this place a classy joint.

The beer choice was good, I opted for a Pravha which really hit the spot and was priced at just over six quid. I was on a crawl with my son and we were both Hank Marvin and decided to take advantage of the Tuesday 2 for 1 burger deal. The burgers were excellent and really juicy and all in with fries for fourteen quid.

We arrived just before six and the place was buzzing, there was an excellent upbeat atmosphere about the pub with a good crowd in from all walks of life.

Our visit to the @greenmanw1 was great. We loved the pub, beer and the top notch burgers. You are spoiled for choice around Fitzrovia for somewhere to relax with a pint, but make sure you check out this wonderful watering hole.

We booked the Wildwood Room (upstairs, minimum spend) for a drinks party to mark the release day of our short film. It was a huge success and we couldn't be happier with how everything went! Hugo and the team were so kind and generous from the start, helping to get everything booked and prepared in advance, setting up for us on the day, and being very friendly and welcoming throughout.
We wanted to put a slideshow up on the TV and to play our own music during the event - both were made possible without any problem.
The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced, especially for such a smart and central location in London.
Overall it was an absolutely fantastic experience, and we are so grateful to the whole team there! As a group of young independent filmmakers on a tight budget, it was a huge blessing to be able to host an event like this in an affordable way, to celebrate the release of our film and catch up with lots of our friends. It was a really special day and will definitely be remembered for years to come! Thank you!!
