Met some friends here at 12pm on a Saturday. We were the first ones in the pub and greeted by 2 very friendly ladies.
The location of the pub is less than 100 metres from London bridge train station, so perfect for a pint after work or whilst waiting for a train and also a meeting up place.
The location is great. Very near to borough market and the Thames.
As we were the first in the pub, the venue was clean and tidy. Good selection of beers on tap and spirits lined up ready and waiting.
A bright sort of a place with plenty of space for everyone. 3 cask ales on today and plenty of keg. Disconcertingly, although food is clearly part of the offering, there are no menus visible. Is this a Chef's secret? The online menu suggests Sunday lunch and more, no evidence of this on site. A pretty and spacious venue though, it will mature I'm sure.
Went at a quiet time during the Coronation, so likely not a true reflection of how busy it may get. Loads of free tables and very convenient for London Bridge. Decent selection of beers, not just your basic lagers. Cocktails were nice. Food menu looks good but didn't get the chance to try any this time
