I was in Hampstead Heath yesterday and after I finished my work in the area I was looking for a quiet place to read a book. This coffee shop is a hidden gem if you are looking for some peace in busy London Town. The coffee and the freshly made orange cake was fantastic. I want to go there again sometime to try some fantastic Lebanese food that they offer. Anyone visiting Hampstead village must go to this place. Icing on the cake is that the owner and his son are lovely people to chat with :)
Nice, quaint, and clean. While I was enjoying a cappuccino by myself, I was offered a bite of a Lebanese dish that is going on the menu next week, and it was delicious. The kind of service and atmosphere you hope for in a local coffee shop.
I was just strolling around the area when the owner’s warmth and enthusiasm drove me into the doors of this cafe. He was not only a lovely man, whose samples and conversation was much appreciated and welcomed, but also someone whose passion is shown well in the food he produces. The falafel wrap I ordered was wonderful and well priced, in addition to the miracle juice I ordered to go (which he was squeezing fresh in the back for that day too!).
It was a very pleasant lunch and part of my London visit, I cannot wait to visit again.
