A fancy little place in Harrods for high tea. The tea served was definitely something I had never tried before. The dates and the pastries also seemed delightful. It was slightly expensive. However it’s a once to try place for sure!

We wanted a taste of the Gulf in London a while back. So we headed to In-Q Cafe in Harrods. You could smell the coffee aroma a mile away and hear the classic Arabic music luring you in.

We picked the marzipan filled dates and Miri cheesecake with dates (creamy, rich, and delightful yet not too sweet) to go with the Qatari coffee "Gahwa". It has a brew richly flavoured with cardamom and spices including saffron.

Any Emarati/Khaleeji (from the Gulf) without exception has the Gahwa running in his/her veins. It was nice to see the tradition being passed over elsewhere.

The food court selection is spectacular! If money were no object, I would shop at Harrods daily. As a London tourist, I absolutely loved it. Everything was fresh and delicious! The retail offerings are exquisite! There are so many lovely, shiny things!
