A traditional Cantonese restaurant next to the popular Chinese super market Wing Yip Hong. We came here for dinner on Sunday. Booking in advance is highly recommended.
They have a wide selection of traditional Cantonese dishes from the menu. We ordered a few dishes to share and all taste very original. The most delicious is the Cantonese roast duck, crispy skin and the meat are still very juicy. You can ordered whole or half, even a small portion if you come alone or 2 (so you can have more room to try other dish)
Staff are friendly and service is good. The restaurant decor is very traditional and a bit wear out but seating is still comfortable. Price is reasonable and value for money. They also serve dim sum during day time so will definitely come again !
We're regulars here (live very local). This is definitely one of the best authentic Cantonese restaurants you can go to in London away from Chinatown or Queensway. Really good dimsum and as it's not central London, slightly cheaper. On this particular visit we had the lobster noodle with superior noodles. Fantastic, and one of the best lobster noodles I've ever had. The seafood sauce and the lucsious noodles were so good, and of course the amazing lobster! Definitely a must try on a special occasion. The price is seasonal and we paid around £60 for a full lobster with a double noodle portion. This is must go to place if you're local, especially for dimsum at lunch time.
Loved place by Chinese food lovers. Always busy. Staff members are all efficient and hard working, not necessarily all so polite, but it's part of the custom here. Lovely food and we always end up ordering a lot but still enjoy taking the reftover home to have the second pleasure later.
