Having stayed here while on business many times, I decided to treat mum to a few days in town. Shopping, visit to London Zoo and take in an epic show, Cirque du Soleil Amaluna.
As always their service was excellent throughout all departments. Breakfast is the best i've experienced across various hotels. We decided to try their evening food offering, carvery was on the menu and we weren't disappointed!
Tried the gym this visit as we were here for four days. Well equipped, clean, not too busy. A couple of personal trainers in with clients but everyone seemed to work around each other quite well. No rowing machine, but plenty of everything else and all in good working order.
I shared a twin room with mum. Everything was tip top but.... the beds have wheels. While i can understand the practical advantages, it does mean that you can't sit up in bed to watch television as the bed scoots away from the wall, pillows disappearing down the gap.
We'll be back in April for another stay and will of course recommend to everyone, bloomin' marvellous staff and service!
