Some of the best coffee around. They pick the best ingredients and really know what they’re doing to prepare it. Owner is super friendly: my first ever cup was even accompanied by tasting notes. They also serve bottled juices and some pastries and cakes. There are a few seats inside but mainly they’re all about take away. Great place and now part of my daily commute!
One of the best independent cafés in London - hands down best coffee I've ever had (an Australian confirming a good flat white here!). These people are passionate about coffee so if you ask a question as I did, be prepared for the full low down on achieving this great cup 😊
I lived in Battersea for many years and always appreciated the unmanned Queenstown Rd station many a time I walked past, without noticing this lovely little gaff that lay inside it seems.
The walls seem the same as they would have when the station was first built, lovely off-white and green walls and the smell of the train tracks and then you walk into Coffee Affair:
For myself this is what I look for in any place I'll sip my coffee, they offer a variety of beans (from the brilliant round hill roastery) and methods of extraction. I'm not a milk and sugar type since a mate introduced me to the potentials of coffee extraction years past and it is for this reason I love the many places like Coffee Affair who will celebrate this.
But the reason I gave this 5 stars is not just the great coffee (which I took away a bag of) but the owner, she engaged me and the missus in genuine conversation which transcended the usual hospitality pleasantries, showed passion for her work and made us feel very welcome indeed, .
I think anyone who wants to go and sit down and discover it should give it a chance and if you're a coffee lover you'll feel all the better for it.
