Came here around brunch time during the week and was pretty quiet.
I was promptly seated by a polite and attentive staff member.
I ordered the turkish eggs, which took a short time to get ready.
I must say, the taste of the turkish eggs was really delicious. The accompanied spices and other condiments gave the dish a real explosion of flavours. The bread too was really nice.
The eggs were cooked to how I love it most.
The veg sausage was great too.
I couldn’t get enough of it all, really.
Slight caveat as this may be overpriced for some people, however the the taste of the food is well worth it.
Hope to revisit soon to try out some other dishes.
I have been a few times over the years and have never been disappointed. The coffee is always excellent (which is hard to find!) and although it isn’t a huge place they always do their best to fit you in and accommodate little ones!
The menu is one side of A5 (quality over quantity) The food is excellent and there is always something there for everyone - children, adults and a range of dietary requirements are accommodated well. There is rarely a wait for food and the service is friendly and warm - always!
It is a little more expensive than other places on the high street and more of a special treat for us.
A must visit for me when in Wanstead and hands down the best cafe on a very cafe-filled high street.
This is a lovely place to go for brunch, the small selection of food is varied enough and would suit most diets; with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available and the friendly staff happy to accommodate any allergies or intolerances. It's a great place to go for a treat yourself meal as it's a bit dearer than we expected but well worth it.
Loved the pistachio iced latte and vegan wrap, we had the optional fried egg which really added a lot to the dish as they were exceptional eggs.
It's dog friendly with outdoor seating and beautiful decor.
We will certainly be returning to the popular destination.
