Amazing food and great service. The owner was serving himself and was very polite and friendly! Totally recommend. Patiently explained all ingredients to us and helped us order their best dishes.
Caspian is Iranian /Persian restaurant in SE12 area .Nice decor and overall decent ambience .Lamb kebab /Chicken and hummus were average and service was again very average .Nothing amazing but does the job .
Caspian Restaurant is a Persian establishment in South London. The decor is elegant with a refined Egyptian/Middle Eastern influence. The protagonist displayed in the pictures is the Kabab Koobideh, two skewers of lamb mince with saffron rice. The skewers were succulent & did contain flavour, but was very mild, the meat required a boost in spice. The saffron rice was dead in piquancy, but the tiny jar protruding from the middle of the plate contained an elixir that Phoenixed the dish to regeneration. There are far better Persian alternatives, however, for South London, Caspian is one of the better options.
