Cheesy, amazing.. Been here twice with my girlfriend over the past year and I have to say that it's easily among the tastiest food I've had in the area.
Sure, it's not sophisticated by any means, but the good, honest, simple food, along with the excellent service and extensive cocktail and beer menu always leaves you with a smile on you face.
I personally recommend the Grande Nachos and the Chimichangas!
This funky little Tex Mex is the perfect place for meeting friends. Warm yellow walls, covered in pictures and rugs create an atmospheric ‘holiday feel’.The super smiley waiting staff plonk a Mexican hat on your head, to kick start your evening, as you browse the cocktails at the hut style bar in the centre of the room. There is a lot of choice from the kitchen and whilst I found the starter of ‘jalapeno poppers’ a bit on the mild side, I absolutely fell in love with their ‘chicken chimichanga’ which I believe I could eat every day for the rest of my life. My friends held an envious eye over my dinner as they had an uninspiring salad which they did not rave about.
The Mexican music in the background keeps everyone in a good mood and the cocktails keep on flowing and can do until 2.30am at the weekend as this restaurant transforms into a bar.
The bill can be a bit on the pricey side after you’ve had so many cocktails but the overall experience was great
