Just amazing!! We had Saturday brunch here and loved everything about it. Great service, delicious food, nice cocktails and priced well. Highly recommend Kudu and can’t wait to return! Also - they have gluten free bread available and lots of other GF options
After a lot of online hype, I was really looking forward to trying Kudu and booked it for my birthday. The interior is lovely, with a cute outside patio in the back. Absolutely wonderful service, all the staff were welcoming, kind and attentive. The kudu bread with butter was really unique and delicious - very light and fluffy bread with great flavour. The scallops were delicious and fresh too, very well balanced. However, we treated ourselves to the expensive beef dish and I was quite disappointed. It just didn’t have much flavour at all? and the truffle foam was a textural nightmare. The cabbage was too hard and the mustard too strong. Everything other than that dish was delightful, but a shame as it was almost £60 just for that dish! I would come again for everything but the steak.
I would go here weekly if it wasn't so far away from me.
A small restaurant near the Peckham overground serving South African cuisine. The sommelier helped guide us through South African wines to pair with our dinner, and he did a great job.
Food wise, each dish had a different texture and taste to amuse my tastebuds. We started with their signature bread with two types of butter. I highly recommend getting both butters to try the more meaty savory taste and the fishy taste. The churros were my favorite. I loved how small and crunchy they were along with the little yellow sauce on the side. The tartare and the chicken hearts were nice, but didn't stand a chance against the onglet steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and paired so well with the mushrooms and veggies. For two people, this was the perfect amount of food. We had no room for dessert.
