The Italians are famous for liking their food simple but great. If you go for pizza with an Italian, they probably won’t order a pie heaped with toppings but rather go for something plainer so they can fully experience the flavour. We experienced this recently at one of London’s most authentic Italian restaurants, In Parma. So intimate and authentic, the owner served us himself. We were meeting a friend but couldn’t wait to dive right into the menu as soon as we arrived. Our charming host explained the premise of the restaurant, traditional ingredients and dishes brought straight from Parma, cheese and meat platters to start and classic pasta to devour.
Continuing along the vein of bringing you some of my favourite places in London, I think it’s about time I got around to introducing In Parma. Located on the tiny Charlotte Place in Fitzrovia, In Parma is a small Italian restaurant which focuses on bringing the top produce from Parma, Italy to London, from Parma ham and Parmesan cheese, to my favourite, Lambrusco.

In Parma is a cozy restaurant in a small lane off Charlotte-street. This is nothing like the wannabe-starred restaurants which are very common in London. This is an authentically Italian place, where the food is simple and tastes genuinely. Eventually while sipping lambrusco-wine from the bowl you might feel carried away to Emilia, in Italy.
