When to Karavas as a Jazz Cafe concert preparation and was very impressed. The place looks cool and is inviting, the staff receiving us with smiles and complimentary food to further reinforce the starters we chose. The 4 of us went for the dinner menu, that is superbly priced for the quality of the food. The humus and the tzaziki were phenomenal, and both the vine leaves and the meatballs followed the trend of savoury food. The rice was sensational! It has been a while since I had rice cooked this nicely, great on its own, not lacking taste, but matching nicely with the tomato sauce I'd the dishes I tried. All washed down with Cypriot beer Keo and we have a winner. Recommended.
It is a lovely little Greek restaurant. Dad used to take us here.
I recently took a date here and the atmosphere was nice. A lot of lit candles everywhere made the mood very pleasant place to be.
They'll offer some pitta and dip before you start for free, which is nice of them.
The starters are lovely. Calamari with garlic is fantastic.
The Lamb shank is really well cooked. meat falls off the bone after just a stroke. Lovely and tender.
It's a shame that the Lamb shank just doesn't taste as good as it used to be though. Maybe they changed recipes or something...
Great little Greek restaurant, around before Camden become too trendy. Good basic Greek cuisine, attentive service, relaxed atmosphere, good prices for food and wine.
