Booked a table for four yesterday lunchtime for us and our neighbours. Initial impression was very good, as the place has a great ambience. We were quickly shown to our table and were handed our menus. We chose the £12.95 two course lunch. Both ladies had whitebait which was, apparently delicious. Both men had prawns in a sauce which we enjoyed. Both ladies had the chicken with added veg. Paul had Sea bass, he reckoned it was the best he ever had. I had Penne Arabiatta with a green salad . Again one of the best I've had. We had 6 drinks between us and the bill was £89. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and will take our Canadian friends there when they stay.
First time last night to this beautiful restuarant ! Ambience was amazing ! But as we all know it's all about the service and the food ! Well what can I say ! The staff firstly are so attentive ! For a massively busy restuarant it was without a doubt the highest level of service that I have experienced! Then comes the food , normally I have to say , Italian food is normally hugely expensive for very bland simple food , but cucina make there own twist on there traditional dishes and wow what a twist, loved every mouthful of tasty mouthwatering explosion , that I didn't want it too finish, and pistachio ice cream filled profiteroles are too die for ! We can't wait to come back to experience the rest of the menu ! Thank you all for helping us to have an amazing evening
We took our friends to Cucina for their 1st visit on Saturday night and it did not disappoint! The food was presented beautifully and tasted gorgeous. I enjoyed a cocktail from the specials menu which hit the spot. The atmosphere was busy but not overwhelmingly noisy. We were not rushed throughout the meal and could take our time between courses. Fabulous as always and can't wait to go back
