While visiting Kidwelly Castle, we discovered this little gem of a place. We were hungry and it was right outside the castle. Lovely countryside restaurant/pub and the food served was absolutely incredible. The battered fried Squid was delicious, and so was the Pate. Sunday Roast, Lamb was fabulous, and Pork was just yum. Very friendly staff and service was excellent. Great value for money. A must try when you are visiting Kidwelly Castle.
Food was fantastic, especially enjoyed the seafood dishes, croquetas and the Sobrassada with fried egg. Cheese board with excellent too with loads of Welsh cheeses.
Bar was great and they had a good selection of Welsh craft beers.
Location is great next to Kidwelly Castle.
The atmosphere is lovely inside and staff were super friendly, I could easily spend all day there drinking and grazing.
Don't think there's a website so you need to call up to reserve a table (although I'm sure they fit walks ins in too)
What a lovely little place. All unusual beer on tap and tapas style menu. We eat quite a selection and every dish was stunning. Big group of us which all enjoyed.
