I’m so glad that I was convinced (forced) to stop here and try some of these chocolates.
Being a bit of a chocolate purist, I’m not easily swayed by these new (to me) artisan chocolate shops.
The chocolates are bloody fantastic.
As well as being aesthetically beautiful, each one is so delicately balanced. Nothing is ‘too sweet’ or ‘too bitter’. A lot of care and thought has gone into each one.
The guy who served us was massively knowledgable and he went above and beyond.
A new favourite. Diolch.
If your going to Kidwelly Castle, make sure you find this place. Just down the road from castle, 5 mins walk, is a chocolate paradise. All the chocolates are hand made and with many different centres. On the day we were there, there was 8 different centres to choose from but he makes a total of 27 different chocolates to choose from. Lovely coffee too, which you can sit in and drink or takeaway. Check out his Facebook page to see the chocolates he makes.
If you want some incredible chocolate all you have to do is stop by Edan Ash in Kidwelly! I absolutely love that there are a lot of vegan options in their selection and the flavours change often which makes things exciting.
Also- one of the best coffees of all times. I really recommend you try their oat milk lattes, they will brighten your day.
See you soon!
