We popped into the George & Dragon on way through - lovely little country pub with garden which we sat in and enjoyed the sunshine - a lovely lunch of baguetts and chips - friendly staff - if anyone passing pop in would highly recommend.
Probably the best 'pub grub' we have ever eaten. Lovely oldie worldie atmosphere and great food. Certainly exceeded our expectations!
Went here today lovely little pub very friendly staff i had roast beef which was lovely and partner had the dragon burger which he said was very good will definitely visit again

We threw a dart at a map to choose a weekend destination and discovered an absolute gem. The rooms are lovely, the pub is fantastic and the food is magnificent; the landlords & staff are warm, welcoming and more than accommodating, it is quite simply the most hospitable place we have ever stayed, thank you for a wonderful weekend, David & Nic
Rang late to book in. They were fully booked but managed to fit us in. The staff could not have been more attentive or helpful. The presentation of the food was incredible and was delicious. Beautiful pub crammed with atmosphere. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Thank you x
We were there to collect a rescue dog and had to take ours to meet up. Stayed two nights with our dogs , no problem with dogs in the pub lovely atmosphere and a very friendly place . We took the people who rescued our latest addition for a meal there and there were no complaints, we had a lovely time highly recommended, hope to be back . Chris
Lovely rural location in a historic inn. Tastefully decorated and we'll maintained. Excellent event venue but limited parking if there are a large number of guests.
First time visitor to this lovely pub, certainly won’t be the last. Although living locally have seen signs before but never visited, what a shame absolutely loved the place, the food and the service, even the beer was perfectly served and we enjoyed a perfect lunch of burgers and fish and chips. Finding a venue like this reasonably locally is like winning the lottery in these days of reducing pubs and would recommend to anyone who wants a nice lunch or a great evening out.
Very welcoming staff and the roast was delicious, although I do like my beef a bit more well done
Been here a few times and always a warm welcome. Food is delicious and some items on the menu change which is nice for regulars. Great for families and a pleasant beer garden when the weather permits!
