Absolutely gorgeous place!! My sister booked it for my hen party. Such a beautiful venue, great service and the best afternoon tea I've ever tasted! Highly recommended for a fun, girlie day out.
Why would I not go into a pink tea shop? I was not disappointed. Everything I like about eating out was here, starting with an immediate, friendly greeting, despite being busy. Directed to a table straight away. Extensive menu, including unusual teas and homemade cakes. Beautiful setting, mismatched furniture and china giving it a cosy, arty feel. Possible wifi, but the service was so good I didn't need to use it. Obviously I chose Rose tea and Rose cake! It came in a beautiful pot, with a proper strainer, none of that in-pot rubbish that doesn't allow the tea to circulate properly, plus a delicate cup and saucer. The cake was a generous slice, served with a cake fork, delicious. The staff were friendly, efficient, helpful. There was a big party in at the time, wedding or hen, I think, which can be very demanding, but the staff didn't let that phase them, or delay the service for other customers. I wanted to stay longer. Definitely recommend, in fact I'm begging you to go there, because these small businesses need our support to stay open in these trying times. Also no fuss about taking cash, which some shops are turning into an unnecessarily big deal
Lovely decor and set up. Food was fine, just not worth almost £30 for an afternoon tea, which was 1 sandwich, 1 small vol-au-vent, a scone and a couple of sweet options in a broken stand. The piece of cake was great though! Would go back but not for the afternoon tea option.
Lovely place to go for an afternoon tea. We had one with sandwiches, tea, cake and scones etc which was absolutely delicious.
The aesthetic inside consisted of a tropical chic sort of theme which fitted well with the whole atmosphere.
Would definitely recommend. And staff were lovely.
Just returned home from birthday treat of afternoon tea with my wife at Pretty Things, Horsham. Absolutely fabulous. Terrific food, excellent and friendly service in very pleasant surroundings. We will be back. Very well done to all. Rob.
Went to a baby shower party here.
Lovely food, but very pricy for afternoon tea £30 inc service charge, we shared a platter of sandwiches, had 1 scone each & macaroons, pots of tea/coffee flowing on demand. Was not keen on the idea that those eating off the menu had to sit together & afternoon tea people had to sit together, so seperated from your family/ friend if you both had something different. The toilet was so small the mums with babies had to change them on the floor where we was eating! Not ideal & embarrasing for the mums.
Staff attentive. Atmosphere was lovely. Stairs can be awkward if pregnant/elderley or carrying baby car seats Great afternoon had.
Absolutely beautiful tea room, the afternoon tea was amazing the girls Dani and Amber were fantastic 😊
Had a lovely breakfast/brunch birthday treat Saturday morning. Delicious bacon sandwich with trimmings, in lovely comfortable surroundings.
Friendly professional staff. Would definitely recommend.
Such an amazing little place! Perfect for when you want to go somewhere 'different' for coffee. We had an amazing hot chocolate and a scone - they cater for coeliac's which is amazing!
What a wonderful afternoon tea we had at Pretty Things. Food was delicious, the setting was ever so pretty and the staff were lovely. Both vegan and dairy free were easily catered for. We had three children, 3 and under, with us and they had the most wonderful high tea including squash served in a unicorn teapot! We will definitely visit again.
