Great value for money great food you will never go home hungry the down side is you have to PAY for parking but next door is morrisons you get 3 hours free so you could do that just be mindful of the time ⌚ and dog friendly
It was a family dinner to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. Generally our experience was very good and will definitely come back.
However, some issues whilst good could be improved:-
1)Lady behind the bar was very good and helpful but as more people arrived she was rushed off her feet.
2) only beef gravy on offer which is a bit strong if having Turkey and gammon.
3) There was no bread sauce!
4) The marshmallows were missing off the Rocky road sundae.
5) No drinks menu on table.
6) Nothing to keep children amused. We brought our own things but would have been nice to have some on the table or when you book in.
7) Cauliflower cheese was under cooked and thin.
8) Yorkshire's a little over cooked but that's my personal taste.
Hope that helps.
Kind regards
Cheryl Evans
Took my two children here for a carvery meal on Sunday. We were met by Fran at the entrance who promptly checked us in and took us to our table, Fran explained how the carvery works and was more than welcoming. At the carvery we were met by Nicola, the female chef who is a mother of 4 and so knew exactly how to feed me and my children with some healthy and generous portions. The food was fantastic, the meats were succulent and the price was extremely reasonable. Thank you Fran and Nicola for a wonderful experience, I will definately be back again. Highly recommended for your Sunday roast dinner.
