It was a family dinner to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. Generally our experience was very good and will definitely come back. However, some issues whilst good could be improved:- 1)Lady behind the bar was very good and helpful but as more people arrived she was rushed off her feet. 2) only beef gravy on offer which is a bit strong if having Turkey and gammon. 3) There was no bread sauce! 4) The marshmallows were missing off the Rocky road sundae. 5) No drinks menu on table. 6) Nothing to keep children amused. We brought our own things but would have been nice to have some on the table or when you book in. 7) Cauliflower cheese was under cooked and thin. 8) Yorkshire's a little over cooked but that's my personal taste. Hope that helps. Kind regards Cheryl Evans

Took my two children here for a carvery meal on Sunday. We were met by Fran at the entrance who promptly checked us in and took us to our table, Fran explained how the carvery works and was more than welcoming. At the carvery we were met by Nicola, the female chef who is a mother of 4 and so knew exactly how to feed me and my children with some healthy and generous portions. The food was fantastic, the meats were succulent and the price was extremely reasonable. Thank you Fran and Nicola for a wonderful experience, I will definately be back again. Highly recommended for your Sunday roast dinner.

Really good affordable Sunday carvery something for all my family generous with meat portions and everything cooked perfectly. I would of given 5 stars but we had to wait a while for gravy to be topped up so my food got cold. But this is a minor issue everything else was lovely !

Lovely location with a nice view infornt of it, can imagine it to be nicer in the summer time. We got 3 sides for £14 to share ( Cauliflower wings, mac and cheese, vegan chicken) Vegan chicken was alright falls apart a bit, cauliflower wings are lovely and taste just like a normal chicken wing, mac and cheese was nice but it's just a bad idea that it comes with BBQ sauce on top, whose idea was that? :D

Food arrived promptly was delicious and generous portions. Some of us had the carvery and were advised to get the carvery just before the other meals were due to come out. Timing was perfect. Very reasonable price would highly recommend

Birthday meal for six adults and three kids. Absolute value for money. Starters and mains and two bottles of wine for under £130. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Good portion sizes.

We absolutely love the spindle, it's got a great play area inside and out and my youngest loves all the Christmas decor at the moment. It also has brilliant disabled access which makes it easy for my dad to be able to come and visit. Staff are always chatty and friendly and we love a good carvery.

Thoroughly enjoyed a musical bingo night with a group of friends. The carvery was fabulous, the entertainment was spot on and all really good value for money. Really pleasantly surprised and impressed. We will be back.

We come as a group every week and really enjoy the food and friendliness of the staff. This week we had two birthdays and were kindly allowed to bring in gluten free cake and it was plated and brought out to us by staff.

We didn't have food on this visit, but it looked amazing as usual. I had a meet-up with someone moving to High Wycombe and felt this would be a nice place to chat about the area. I was a bit shocked by the new parking charges as they hadn't been there on previous visits, the machine wasn't working yet, so not a problem this time.

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime with 2 guests. Service was very good and received our meals within 15 minutes. All of the dishes were hot and tasty. Will recommend to friends as a very nice experience.

I visit the Spindle frequently, both as a customer and as a Music Bingo host. I couldn’t rate it highly enough - Fran is an excellent Manager with fabulous people skills, and as such her staff are great too: efficient, friendly and very welcoming. My last bingo session was jam-packed, so it looks like the hard work they put into making this pub so special is paying dividends. 🙂

The food arrived within good time and was lovely and hot. The person checking in guests was polite and allowed us to sit wherever we wanted. We were informed if we bought our parking ticket in from the car they refund it from our bill

A friendly, casual place with decent food. It's not fancy cuisine but well priced with a very good carvery, especially good value there (a small plate with two types of meat and all the veg is ~£5). Great for an evening when no one can be bothered to cook!
