Unfortunately this place is now closed...
I've been told by a friend the pub serves their burgers, but the takeaway as it was is shut!
Below is my original review
Stumbled upon this gem by accident (the frying pan chip shop is shut on a sunday).
Oh boy is this a good find, from the outside it looks a bit like a taxi office. But inside is a very lovely experience. The menu looks limited at first but has a broad range (and yes there is not only a veggie option but a vegan one as well).
You can add extras to your burger including jalapeño and bacon, and they also do milkshakes, with a special of the week.
Prices are a touch higher than your average burger chain but this is not your average burger. My meal (veggie burger, jalapeño, fries and a shake) was 14 quid, but if you eat meat there is a meal deal on the "classic" burger.
The staff are super helpful and very professional and the only downside I could find was the shop itself is not very wheelchair accessible. And that is the only negative at all.
Although, seemingly pricey, the Burger's are worth it. I had the Chilli burger, which isn't for the faint hearted - it's very spicy. They have a reasonable lunch time offer £8 for a classic burger, fries and a drink.
The staff are friendly and although I visited on opening day (very long queue), the staff constantly updated on wait times and provided reassurance.
The only thing lacking is inside seating, but as a takeout, it is perfect - Fresh ingredients, made to order and good portions.
Burger was amazing!! On par with Five Guys i would say! We ordered the bad boy burger box! The chips were nice, go for the normal chips as the spicy chips blew my head off 🙈 overall a great new place in Hertford to grab a takeaway burger! They deliver as well which is really good!!!
