Cracking food, and Mal’s sauce is well worth coming for! Definitely recommend the melody fish deal on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s, do much fish and calamari!!!
What can I say about this place that does it justice?
Apart from being one of the best fish and chips I've had ( and I'm in my 50s) the service was amazing . My mum is 85 partially disabled can be cantankerous belligerent stubborn and set in her ways, always resistant to change and therefore wanting her f&c from her tried and trusted . Always a child portion .
NOT HERE I hasten to add .
So here I ordered mine and mentioned to staff/owner my mum he went and sourced from the chillers an appropriate size of fish for her . You can have that for a quid seeing its your mum he said .
Got home food still hot,dished it up,mum could see immediately it wasn't from the regular chippy, but one mouthful was all it took , and no I didn't shout at her.
I even took the time to google up their number and call them to thank them( I can't recall doing that before).
