It was a quiet Monday lunch time, so no supprise lacking in atmosphere, they had filled up a bit by 2pm when we left. Seemed to be lots of regulars / locals which is always a Good sign 😁.
Food was very nice, two wraps; although it took a while - so ask wait time if you are on a tight schedule.
Staff were friendly, and helpful, everything nice and clean, NO sticky tables / bar top.👍
Came for a Sunday carvery, party of 6 for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Welcomed by the staff, all friendly, service was great, carvery was amazing, proper gravy made, lovely options on meats and veg, the cauliflower and broccoli cheese was very nice too. One note was the roasties, they could be slightly crisper but that's individual choice. Will be back again soon!
A bank holiday of grafting led us to call in at The Wye Inn for some food. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the veggie lasagna. Ticked the box for both of us. I much preferred their fish to that from the local chippy/s and would happily pop in here again instead.
A decent bit of food was what was ordered and that's what we got. Not ridiculously cheap and not ridiculously expensive. A better choice in ale would be nice as only HPA was available.
