We had a family meal for ten last night at the Old Lodge. We were warmly looked after by Mummabear all evening. The food was fantastic - probably the nicest sea food dish I've ever had (sea bass) and I was jealous of those that had the lamb. The ham, duck eggs and chips looked heavenly - such a huge portion for under a tenner. We were all made to feel very special. Thanks for a great evening.

The food here is amazing. We tried the new menu recently and the roast dinners were superb. The chef was also very accommodating with 2 fussy kids who didn't want the stuffing in the chicken! This is also a great venue for a party. Hired the dining room for about 40 people and staff were all very friendly and helpful putting up decorations for me. Lovely feel to the place. Can't wait for my Xmas meal there!
